Nestled in a cheerful 190 square-foot walkup window, Manu's Bodegita serves homemade Latin staples like Cuban sandwiches, yuca-flour empanadas, fresh ceviche, fried tostones, and breakfast tacos. Chef and owner Manuel Alfau started his original restaurant, La Bodega, as a tribute to his latin heritage, hailing from the Dominican Republic. Bodegita is the newest project from Alfau, which is serving Honor Society espresso in traditional formats while incorporating custom specialty drinks based in Latin spices and flavors like Cafe Cubano and Espresso con Panela.
